Shlomo ha-Levi Alkabetz, (1500 – 1576) was a rabbi, kabbalist and poet perhaps best known for his composition of the song Lecha Dodi.
This poem combine the text of Lecha Dodi with phrases from song of songs (3,6).
It's actually using the same technique used by the poet, combining biblical phrases and creating a poem based on phrases from bible.
