How to turn Vans into roller skates

Here's my tutorial on how to build your own skates using Vans or any other shoe you may have.

Tools used (yours may vary depending on your plates & trucks hardware):
-Ruler
-Marker
-Drill
-Pilot bit**
** a bit that's smaller that 1/4in
-1/4in drill bit
-Wrench
-3/8th socket/wrench for the plate hardware
-1/2 socket for wheels
-11/16th socket for trucks

Skate Supplies
-Vans (1/2 size larger than your usual size to compensate for the added metal insole)
-Metal Insoles (I got mine from RollAround shop on Etsy)
-Plates (mine are powerdyne reactor neos)
-Toe stop (mine are Grindstone heartstoppers)
-Washer & Lock Nut for toe stop
-Wheels (mine are Chaya neon wheels for outdoor skating/ hardness 78A)
-Bearings (mine are Bones Reds Bearings/ standard size)
-Skate Hardware for bolting plates to the shoe (your plates should have them, but I bought the hardware kit from RollAround shop on Etsy & recommend using that instead)
