The Biggest Secret To Success - The Principle of Likability

If you ask anyone with regards to what is the most important trait where success is concerned, people will tell you hard-work or perseverance or determination or a never-give-up-attitude. And then there are those (like me) who believe luck is also very important. So yes - all these traits are very important where success is concerned. However, if I had to zero down on the most important trait that I felt has helped me more than any other trait - it would be the principle of likability.
So what do I mean by the Principle of Likability?
Likability is that trait of an individual where he can make those who truly matter like him. And the benefit of having this trait is that when someone likes you or you find yourself in their favorable books - you can get the extra benefits and positive perks. Being likable also helps you get more opportunities, be punished less and given more leeway. However, the biggest benefit of being likable is the fact that people like do build relationships and do business with you. Always keep in mind - if someone likes you - that in itself is one of the biggest reasons for them to want to be around you, hang around you and want to build a relationship with you.
