CRAZY TURBO SOUNDS in a PEUGEOT 205 GTi

Welcome to The Turbo Rocket's first video!
On this beautiful sunny Saturday, I got to experience my first track day, at Mettet Circuit in Belgium. Even though I had arrived in the rare and unique ADA Detomaso Pantera race car and its team, the little Pug sparked my curiosity from the moment I heard the choo-choo turbo noises coming out of a naturally aspirated car. I had to investigate. Turns-out the owner, Anthony, got understandably bored of the factory 115 hp, 1.9 lt four cylinder, especially after almost 20 years of ownership. So, like every petrolhead out there, he searched for ways to transform it into a beast. Following lots of trial and error, he managed to fit a 2.0 lt, turbocharged four out of a Citroen Xantia, which, after a few modifications, produces 260 hp on 935 kg car. It's also running on Toyo Proxes R888 semi-slicks, giving it very tight turn-in and cornering capabilities, with the turbo taking over on the straights. I tried my best to describe the car, but my excitement after going on the track for the first time in a sleeper pocket-rocket was slightly overpowering, to say the least. This was like the craziest roller coaster you've been in... times ten! I hope you'll enjoy the video and, of course, this incredible 205 GTi ;)
