Reçoi le coup mortel que Saül te prèpare...

Ou suis-je ? Tout s’oppose à mon juste couroux !
Mille infidelles mains ont arresté mes coups...
Le Ciel du moins, le Ciel m’offre une mort certaine.

Helas ! de quel espoir mon coeur s’est-il flatté ?
Ils ont pour me trahir assez de cruauté,
Et trop peu pour finir ma peine !
