How to Test and Match Crochet Gauge | BEGINNER | The Crochet Crowd

Описание к видео How to Test and Match Crochet Gauge | BEGINNER | The Crochet Crowd

Learn how to make a gauge swatch and factors to consider when doing one. You don't need to waste yarn to do a trial swatch to see how your tension is.

For those who end up with the wrong sizes, usually your tension is off.

If you get too many stitches between the measurement. You need to increase your hook.

If you don't have enough stitches between your measurement. You need to decrease your hook.

It's a guess on how much to change the hook by, so keep testing and you will find your tension and hook size to get the real project to match exactly the designer intended.
