Teaching Notes Lesson 9: How to asking for and giving directions in Chinese.
New words:
前/前面 qián / qiánmian： front
后 /后面 hòu / hòumian： back
左 / 左边 zuǒ / zuǒbian：left
右 / 右边yòu / yòubian：right
往wǎng towards it is a proposition used to indicate direction
往前走wǎng qián zǒu：go forward
往左走 wǎng zuǒ zǒu：go left
往右走 wǎng yòu zǒu：go right
路口 lùkǒu：crossing
第一 dìyī ： first
第dì often used before a numeral-measure-word phrase to indicate order
第二dìèr：second
第三 dìsān： third
Sentence:
一直往前走。Yìzhí wǎng qián zǒu. Walk straight ahead.
请问，Sisi书店怎么走？Qǐngwèn， Sisi shūdiàn zěnme zǒu？ Excuse me， how to get to Sisi Bookstore?
