1950 Genco SOUTH PACIFIC woodrail pinball machine

Описание к видео 1950 Genco SOUTH PACIFIC woodrail pinball machine

A short video demonstrating gameplay of the 1950 Genco Manufacturing Company woodrail pinball machine South Pacific.

This is a (somewhat) Polynesian themed machine that includes 10 kick-out holes. Replays are won by lighting particular holes, going through roll over lanes that light up when certain holes are lit, and achieving certain scores. Holes are lit by either landing in them, going through rollover lanes (left one lights 1, 2, and 3, while right one lights 4, 5, and 6), and by hitting the rollover button at top of playfield that will spot a particular numbered hole.

The machine features “reverse” impulse flippers that are operated together by either flipper button. The machine is somewhat unique for not having a bumper. Genco's Mercury and Rocket machines (also from 195) feature similar layouts with 10 kick-out holes but both feature a pop bumper.

Note: All holes were lit during gameplay (at 1:34) and so 10 replays were awarded! This is one very few times that I have achieved this and luckily had the camera rolling when it occurred. Also, I currently have the flippers angled down a bit which makes gameplay a bit easier.
