Proper EC, or Electrical Conductivity, management ensures that your plants receive the right of amount of nutrient.

For leafy greens, the ideal EC range is 1.4 to 1.8. Mine was above 2.0, so I added pH balanced water to my tank. As you can watch in the video, the level is now right at 1.8!

Keeping your pH level in balance is also important for optimal plant health. For lettuce and leafy greens, a pH level of 6.0-7.0 will ensure that nutrients are readily available for absorption.
