JACKASS HILL and CAMPING on the TURON RIVER

We kick off with a slow morning and cook up at a creek camp somewhere in Sunny Corner / Turon area and relive the shenanigans from the night before. We hit the tracks and head north towards the famous Jackass Hill / Bastard Hill. If you haven't been here, put it on your list. It is a steep long climb that is really rocky and can be done in sections. All six cars made it up, but it was a challenge. Once the climb was behind us we made our way to the river and found a large camp right next to the water. At camp Jonesy cooked up a feast, we taste tested three random beers and had a fancy dessert damper to top off a cracking day out.
