In this video, you will come along with me for a 20-mile-long run workout and a full day of eating during this sub-3:30 marathon prep series. We are currently deep in a marathon build with the goal of going sub-3:30 at the Glass City Marathon in Toledo, Ohio on April 28th.

This is our eighth week of prep and this workout capped off a 65-mile training week. Following this week of training, we will have a de-load week before we get into the final two weeks of building which includes peak week.

This workout was:
14 miles easy (8:40-9:10 pace)
4 miles at marathon pace (7:45-7:55 pace)
2 miles easy (8:40-9:10 pace)

Week 8 workout breakdown:
Sun: Rest Day
Monday: 9.10 miles easy
Tuesday: 8.10 miles easy
Wednesday: 11.65 miles, speed workout
Thursday: 8.20 miles easy
Friday: 20.03 miles with marathon pace
Saturday: 8.02 miles easy
