Closing Performance: Denver at TEDxPortland

We could not think of a better way to close the day then to end with performance from Portland's own "ramshackle all-star country band" -- DENVER.

Chief songwriters Birger Olsen, Mike Elias and Tom Bevitori are co-founders and lead vocals for this "ramshackle all-star country band." The band has since filled out its lineup with a stellar supporting cast, which includes Blitzen Trapper's Eric Earley and Michael Van Pelt, drummer Sean MacNeil and a rotating crew of even more of Portland's finest musicians.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
