Today I'm recapping a movie called The Handsome Suit where a guy named Takuro doesn't fit into East Asian beauty standards – until he comes across a new invention that gives him a new life full of pretty privilege and opportunities. It might sound fake but our reality is very similar to this film's concept. We pay for plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures to permanently change our features so we can look good on social media and TikTok.
