Leica X1 Digicam Street Photography at Omaha's Bud Crawford Parade

On August 12th 2023, the city of Omaha, Nebraska held a victory parade to honor world champion boxer Terence "Bud" Crawford.

On July 29th 2023, the undefeated Crawford beat Errol Spence, Jr. and made boxing history when he unified all four belts in the 147-pound welterweight class.

No other boxer in the history of the sport has accomplished this.

Crawford remains undefeated at 40-0.

These are the photographs I took with my Leica X1 during the parade. I found myself drawn to the parade's edges to photography the men, women and children who seemed disconnected from the power and emotion of the celebration.
