General Session: Angela Duckworth, author of “Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance,” spoke at the 2016 National Summit on Education Reform on Thursday, Dec. 1 in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Duckworth provided real-world examples of the relationship between grit and enhanced achievement, sharing how the science of character development can offer tangible tools to prepare America’s students to succeed in the classroom and everyday life.
