Generative dark ambient with Microcosm, MicroFreak, Monologue, Volca FM, Drums, and friends

This is a dark ambient piece, partly generative, using Microcosm, MicroFreak, Korg Monologue, Volca FM and Drums, a Source Audio Collider, three Zoom MS-70s and a BlueBox. The generative parts are handled by using plenty of spice and dice on the MicroFreak, probabilities per step on the Volca Drums, random arpeggiator on the Volca FM, and the close to sentinent Microcosm doing it's thing (algorithm Seq 3).

The EHX 720 looper is playing some pre-recorded loops (recorded using the MicroFreak). The Volca FM is playing a 16-step sequence, going through the Microcosm (fully wet).

The old PC used for recording the video (in OBS) couldn't handle the load, so the framerate drops to around one frame per 10 seconds at the end. As I was wondering how to end this jam, our cat jumped up on my synth table and sat on the "Play" button on the Monologue, effectively stopping the sequencer and ending the jam.

The audio is recorded to SD card on 1010music's Bluebox mixer/recorder and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 17.
