Ingredients:
4 cups water
4 cups whole milk
1 vanilla pod or extract
20 whole black peppercorns
10 cardamom pods
10 cloves
2-4 cinnamon sticks
2-inch fresh ginger
2 tbsp jaggery
2 tbsp black tea
1 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions:
Begin by boiling water in a cooking pan on medium heat.
In a mortar or grinder, coarsely crush the whole peppercorns, cardamom pods, and cloves, and set them aside.
Grate the fresh ginger and set it aside. Break the cinnamon sticks into chunks. Add all the spices to the boiling water and let them boil for 8 to 10 minutes on a medium flame.
Add the black tea leaves and boil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the tea is fully brewed.
In another pan, bring the milk to a boil, then turn off the heat. Add in the vanilla and jaggery. Whisk until the sugar dissolves, then froth the milk with a frother or immersion blender.
Strain the tea into your favorite mug, then pour over the hot frothy milk. Finish it off with a pinch of cinnamon powder.
Now you have a delightful Vanilla Spiced Chai Latte ready to enjoy. It's the perfect beverage to warm up your day.
