Over the course of three nights in NYC, Derick & I watched the original High School Musical trilogy along with an amazing crowd who sang, danced, & dressed up with us. The energy was off the charts! Thanks so much to everyone that came out and shared this experience with us, these were truly A Night(s) to Remember!

Plot (via Wiki & ChatGPT):
In High School Musical, high school juniors Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) meet while singing karaoke at a ski lodge. Gabriella transfers to Troy's school, East High, where they audition for the school musical, angering drama club president Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) and her brother Ryan (Lucas Grabeel). Sharpay reschedules the callbacks to conflict with Troy's championship game and Gabriella's decathlon, but their friends Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu) and Taylor McKessie (Monique Coleman) help them succeed. Troy and Gabriella win the lead roles and both teams win their competitions, ending with a celebratory performance of "We're All in This Together."

In High School Musical 2, East High students eagerly await summer vacation. Troy gets a job at Sharpay's family's country club and ensures Gabriella and their friends are hired too. Sharpay tries to keep Troy away from Gabriella, leading to tension. Gabriella quits, but Troy makes amends. They perform a new song at the talent show and celebrate the end of summer with a pool party and fireworks.

In High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the Wildcats face their rivals in the final basketball game and win. Ms. Darbus announces the school musical "Senior Year," with several students vying for a Juilliard scholarship. Sharpay, determined to win, teams up with new student Tiara. Gabriella is accepted to Stanford's Honors Program and leaves early. Troy surprises Gabriella at Stanford on prom night. Kelsi and Ryan win the Juilliard scholarship, and Troy chooses UC Berkeley to stay close to Gabriella. At graduation, the six leads take their final bows.
