Описание к видео Visually impaired chef serves up Haitian food at Kwizinn

Kwizinn is Créole for cuisine and the name of a family-run restaurant in Montreal. The restaurant was started by Michael Lafaille and Claudia Fiorilli last year. Lafaille first came to Canada after the earthquake in Haiti. He was seeking treatment for macular degeneration — a condition that has left him with only 25 per cent of his vision. There is no cure. He had trouble finding work in a kitchen, so he started his own restaurant.
