Ronnie James Dio Cancer Foundation: Julia

For today’s episode, I was able to attend the ‘Bowling for Ronnie’ event in Los Angeles in support of the Ronnie James DIO ‘Stand Up & Shout’ cancer fund! The event has been going on for over 5 years & is put on by Ronnie’s wife, Wendy Dio to help raise money to fight caner, in honor of the rock legend. The night allows rock fans to come together & bowl with some of their favorite rock stars in memory of Ronnie James Dio!

Rock & Roll media personality, Eddie Trunk a long with rock stars: Tom Morello, Orianthi, Gilby Clark, Rudy Sarzo, Simon Wright, Scott Warren, Jesse Hughes & Bjorn Englen all shared fun Dio stories & memories with me on the red carpet. Ronnie James Dio’s wife, Wendy Dio, also reflected on her memories of the rock legend as well.

Julia from the Cancer Support Community Los Angeles foundation also spoke on their role in the cancer community & their recent collaboration with the Dio fund!
