After thinking about it for a while, there's still a bit more to share with Sonic Heroes for this longplay. With the Story Mode wrapped up, now it's time to dive into the Extra Missions. Each stage has 2 Emblems you can earn. One for playing the stage like normal. While the other is earned by doing an Extra Mission, where you have to finish the stage under different stipulations. And yes, the type of Extra Missions you'll do is different depending on the team you're playing as.

Starting off with Team Sonic, their Extra Missions are more straight-forward. Just get to the end of the stage within the time limit. Getting the A-Ranks in these missions are still determined by the overall score you earn when you finish the level. And it's gonna be tricky, as you'll have to consider how many rings you can get, how many enemies can you kill quickly to get those score bonuses, when's the best time you can use your Team Blast, and how skilled are you to get the opportunity to take shortcuts to beat that time limit.
