1970 Pontiac Lemans Part 1, First Look and WHAT are we getting into!?

Although we do the majority of work on modern cars, our Old School / Classic Car / Muscle Car business is where our true fun really stems from. There's something so much more passionate and involved when driving something that turns heads and burns tires, something you are assured to not see another identical car while out on a cruise.

So what do we look for in a Daily Driver / Cruiser? Well with an almost 90% original 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport as a show car, why not find a daily drive-able one as well? Off and on for months we searched for just the right car eventually stumbling on an interesting option in a 1970 Pontiac LeMans. Now, while it's not a pure bread Pontiac GTO it also doesn't come with the extra price tag!

Picking her up in the Spring of 2017 from a gentleman in Roanoak Virginia she made the trip back on the trailer with only some minor issues. It's amazing how many honks and thumbs up you get hauling a hot rod through the south! Business needs dictated we not have much time to really spend on this car, other than fixing a few MUSTS. The curse of a busy automotive repair schedule working on customers cars is sometimes we don't have the time to work on our OWN projects!

Finally now in the Winter of of 2018 we have the time to give this 1970s Pontiac some much needed attention and begin it's rebirth for the warm weather ahead!
