STORY TIME! Feel free to skip this long speech. I must tell you though, its a pretty good story.
This video is dedicated to Ashleen - I did plan on making another video for her birthday which was last week (go visit her awesome tumblr:   / littleklarolinebites  ) but didn't really have time to manip dramione with my new clips. So, I thought it was kind of perfect to vid klaroline -- since it is mainly the reason we became friends in the first place!
About a year or so ago, I was at college and there were always points where The Vampire Diaries would come up as a topic. But then at lunch one day, we started talking about couples and then our love for Klaroline. I said "I love them so much I actually make videos of them." Expecting to sound like an idiot, it was weird when she said back "What's your name?" "AussyAngel." OHMYGOD AUSSYANGELX?!" "... You know me?!" Can you believe it? One of my subscribers was in my class!
She's been following my videos on my accounts for a few years and said how much she loved one of my new videos. Freaking awesome. It was amazing actually meeting someone and knowing that a real live and breathing human being watched these little videos I made in my spare time.
We're good friends now and for her birthday, because Im a dork, I gave her a replicate of the bracelet Klaus gave Caroline in 3x11. I plan on buying myself one now so I can pretend Klaus got it for me.
ANYWAY, this is for you Ash! Thankyou for being one of the only people Ive met who understand my weird obsessions! I hope this makes you smile after all the weird shit thats been going on lately. I say that to everyone actually: how the cast and crew have been talking about Klaroline, including at PaleyFest, has been very disheartening. I hope this brightens up your day, guys. Klaus and Caroline are beautiful and their banter kills me! They are amazing and regardless of how we as fans have been spoken of, we have made friends through this ship! Nothing can take away what they have given us, and the cast/crew fail to realize that. They bring me happiness and friendship and I won't take it back.
