Parliament’s committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises has heard from the lawyers of MMAKS Advocates on the work they did for Bank of Uganda during the liquidation of Crane Bank.

The committee questioned the lawyers on why they acted for both Bank of Uganda and Crane Bank at one time, and whether this did not raise issues of conflict of interest.
