The Toledo Walleye, the Detroit Red Wings ECHL affiliate, acquired some high-end talent in the off season. Matt Register is a point producing defenseman picked up from the former ECHL Colorado Eagles (now AHL). He ended the 2017-2018 season with 65 points in 72 games and each season prior has a similar ring of excellence.

Now a Walleye, Matt talks about his transition and what he hopes to do in the organization. Already earning the alternate captain position, Matt will prove to be a force to be reckoned with.
