S1 – Ep 490 – Op-die-Berg, Eselbank, Wupperthal, Western Cape!

Our journey to these three settlements was truly exhilarating. Firstly, we faced a 35-minute wait at a stop-and-go before ascending the spectacular Gydo Pass. Op-die-Berg was an unexpected stop; we had never even heard of the place until that morning, so we decided to make a quick visit. The drive through the Cederberg to reach Eselbank and Wupperthal was incredible, offering breathtaking views and stunning scenery. Eselbank is a tiny, isolated village with an amazing location. In contrast, Wupperthal was quite impressive as we descended the mountain. Its rich history captivated us, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring it.
