Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Dyno Tune Shocker and 0-60

Leave a like if you liked this project, because this may be the final form for the Big Bore Continental GT. I may be done with performance mods. To go further with the CNC Head and Throttle Body is going to cost me about $500-$1000 per horsepower. Not sure I am willing to make that investment The bike is hellafun to ride around on as it is, and already making better numbers than expected. I suspect the airbox removal is helping it breathe and carry through making power all the way to the rev limiter.

*UPDATE*

Top 0-60 is now 4.30 secs. I did a few runs a cooler day and didn't rev it so hard before launching. It yielded a .55 second improvement on this tune and .3 seconds overall, for the best run yet.

The guy who tuned it also did an awesome job making the most of the modifications. It was his day off and I was only going to drop it off for him to work on it later. But he just knocked it out for me. He said that he thought it might be running out of injector near the top.

Replacing all the metal plates in the MK Designs Airbox kit saved 4 lbs. I may have my friend make me a new bottom panel as well because his kydex sides look so good.
