The Bluebell Railway held a weekend dedicated to Model Railways over the weekend of the 29th - 30th June. A wide variety of dioramas, exhibits and layouts of different gauges and sizes would be on display at Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes, along with a plethora of sales stands.

A trio of resident locomotives would also be in operation on the Sussex line. BR Standard 4MT No. 80151 and SR Rebuilt Battle of Britain No. 34059 'Sir Archibald Sinclair' would be rostered onto the two train service between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead. Meanwhile, LBSCR Terrier No. 72 'Fenchurch' would operate between Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes, taking charge of freight and shuttle services, the latter of which would see the 0-6-0 operate in 'push-pull' mode with the LNWR Observation Saloon.

34059 has recently returned to service following a major overhaul. The loco had made its preservation debut in April 2009 following major restoration, becoming the first Rebuilt Battle of Britain Pacific to return to steam in preservation. However, 'Archie' was withdrawn from traffic in October 2011 with firebox problems. Further issues were discovered and a major overhaul commenced, which was completed in December 2023. The Pacific was rededicated in a ceremony at Sheffield Park on the 15th June 2024.

All scenes were captured on Saturday 29th June 2024.
