Lakelands Escapade In Balete, Batangas PH

Another exciting adventure once again by the Pensioners. It never dawned on us that we would become "young ones" again for a day enjoying the various activities in a park or in a resort. We take this experience as a simple inspiration for younger people to be proactive in life in order to be physically fit and healthy. If we can still do such activities at a senior age, then there is no reason why young people could not follow suit. So we found Lakelands Resort in Balete, Batangas and wanted to give it a try. From Tagaytay, it's an hour drive via the zigzag road going down to the town of Talisay, then we took the STAR tollway to the quaint town of Balete. Right from the entrance you will be amazed with the scenic view of the park. We tried all the activities that suited us, like ziplining, rappelling, rock climbing, biking, lawn chess, etc. The helicopter ride was not available at that time.
