Rubber Band Powered Car without Hot Glue

Joshua Houser asked what he could use instead of Hot Glue to make my Rubber Band Powered Cars. This car is made using contact adhesive or 'general purpose adhesive' as it says on the label. The main reason I use hot glue is speed and there are virtually no unpleasant fumes to deal with. This video has no 'speeded up' bits to emphasise the time it takes to make using the contact adhesive.
