Build Description:
This is the same build as my P416 Umbra build I shared earlier here:    • Division 2 | TU22 | Measured P416 AR ...

If you compare the 2, even though on paper Lexington has better numbers, it performs very similar to the P416. Because most of the time, the time-to-kill will be very similar even if one gun has better on paper dps/damage then another. In the end, all damage comes down to time-to-kill, something that has 10% more damage then something else might only have a few milliseconds quicker time-to-kill then the "weaker" gun. Unless you are trying to shave off every millisecond for a speed run, you can usually just use whatever gun you like or feels good instead of what gun has the best damage on paper.

(If you don't have a Lexington, a P416, in my opinion, performs very similar to it)

The basic idea of this build was to play around with a mix of other aspects that contribute to DPS other then just straight damage talents such as Rate of Fire, Weapon Handling, and Mag Size.

Decided to go the Ninjabike route so I could lean into some of the other bonuses for weapon handling and Mag Size. 3pc Umbra for the base set bonus for the Rate of Fire, Reload Speed, and Crit Damage bonuses. 1pc Eagle's Grasp and 1pc Virtuoso for the increased mag size and weapon handling. Eagle's Grasp's Rifle Damage is a bonus since I'm using the LWM4 as a secondary. The rest of the attributes are crit chance and crit damage, with an additional weapon handling roll. This handling roll is personal preference to make the P416 feel how I like, there's pretty much no recoil I need to control. This can be easily swapped to just more Crit Damage.

I chose a Lexington with measured to further lean into the Rate of Fire aspect. The Rate Fire Bonus of Umbra cancels out the Rate of Fire loss of the lower half of measured so I still comes out shooting faster then base and feels good. Other ARs that also felt good were the P416, Carbine 7, Honey Badger, and Police M4. You could even go Chameleon, Big Horn, or St. Elmos. Elmos has like a 90 Round Magazine with this setup. LMGs are good too and I really like the MG5.

Measured is just personal preference. I like the way it feels in this setup. Other talents work well too; strained, optimist, fast hands, killer, preservation, flatline (as long as you have a way to proc it), etc. Go with whatever talent you like or feels good to you.*

Gunner for armor on kill to help complement the in cover heal with Umbra. Riot Foam is a staple CC that I like. Good for a lot of situations. Bulwark Shield is in case I need to swap to pistol, this isn't needed and something like a Crusader Shield, Demolisher Firefly, Revive Hive, etc can be used.

This setup only requires 1 crit chance weapon mod, so I have the freedom to play around with other stuff like Handling, stability, optimal range, or crit damage to modify it for what I need. The Lexington is currently using an Accuracy Scope, although I have since switched to the 12% handling scope instead, and a Stability Underbarrel for personal handling preference. Those can be Crit Damage if you want, or they can be Crit Chance and then just swap 2 or 3 crit chance rolls on the gear to Crit Damage.

I went with the Ninjabike route to work in utility bonuses. If you don't care about that, going with a high end backpack with Vigilance or your talent of choice or Memento can also be an option. Then just choose something like Eagle's Grasp, Ceska, Centurion Scabbard or Coyote's depending on what you want.

Overall, pretty fun. Even though it's not stacked with damage multipliers like some other builds, the rate of fire and crit still feel good and has a good Time-to-Kill. I like the handling, I like the reload speed, I like that it has some self healing, and I like the fire rate. I'm getting used to the in and out of cover flow more now that I'm using Umbra more. When I need to heal, I don't mind just shooting from cover to use up the stacks to regen armor. Currently one of my favorite builds to play.
