OtterBox Defender XT for iPhone 12 Pro: MagSafe * 5x Mil-Std Drop Protection * Port Protection

Looking for a tough case that’s made for MagSafe? Want port protection and a two piece design for easier installation and removal? You might want to check out the OtterBox Defender XT! Offering 5X military standard drop protection, grippy sides and a Made for MagSafe design, the Defender XT brings a lot to the table. But is it the case for you? Let’s check it out on my iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue!

Pros:
* MagSafe
* 5x military standard drop protection (essentially rated to survive 5 times as many drops as the military standard requires)
* Port protection
* Lots of protection for your screen
* Super secure fit on the phone with zero sagging
* Installation and removal does not put any stress on the phone
* Spot for a lanyard
* Made of 50% recycled plastic

Cons:
* Back is relatively slippery and will scratch more easily than a more textured plastic would
* Mute switch opening is a bit small and may pose an issue for people with larger fingers
* Buttons are somewhat stiff
* Surprisingly little back camera protection. You have ‘lay on the table’ protection, but just barely
* Holster is available for free, but you have to pay shipping and handling
* Relatively large case overall
