Battle Arena Toshinden (PS1) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

Описание к видео Battle Arena Toshinden (PS1) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Takara's 1995 3D versus-fighting game for the Sony PlayStation, Battle Arena Toshinden.

Played through on hard with Eiji. I didn't lose any of the fights, so I got the real ending, meager though it may be.

This is one of my favorite early 3D fighters. It was the first fully 3D weapon-based fighter (predating Soul Blade by a fair bit), and though it doesn't play quite as well as Virtua Fighter, its direct competitor, TSD is easy to pick up and have fun with. The graphics were pretty mind-blowing when it was released at the PS1's launch, and it still looks surprisingly good today. In 1995, between this and Ridge Racer, Sony's first console made it pretty clear that 3D was the future of gaming. And really, how many fighters have a soundtrack as killer as this one?

Good stuff all around. Shallow, but good.
