The Making of the AMIRI Autumn-Winter 2021 Runway Film

"If you're going to make a movie, what better place to do it than Los Angeles?” – Mike Amiri

In April 2021, Mike Amiri presented his Autumn-Winter 2021 collection through a cinematic, Hollywood-standard runway film directed by Cara Stricker. Set on the 4th Street Bridge, the film’s narrative mirrored the collection’s: considering the beginnings of the Downtown L.A. era, when a wave of artists moved into the former industrial buildings, lured by the dark romance of its nightlife.

In anticipation of the Autumn-Winter 2021 Runway collection release on August 26th, AMIRI’s accompanying campaign is presented in the form of an exclusive backstage documentary, offering a detailed and personal insight into the development of the season through Creative Director, Mike Amiri.

All precautions for the guaranteed safety of cast and crew were taken in the making of this film.
