Billy No Mates - Knocked Loose - guitar cover - Drop D tuning

Spitting in the face of convention and expectation, I'm playing a Gibson Lucille on this hardcore metal song.

One of my students asked me to teach her to play this song. Little did I know that it was actually played on a 7-string tuned to D standard with the low B dropped to G. Since that was practical for neither of us, I tried to transpose it the best I could into what sounded right in drop D tuning. Turns out that Drop G on a 7-string, the D is the fifth, so tonally, it kinda works.

I realized voicings might've been more accurate if I played in D Standard and just played 4ths, but this was the easiest way to teach my student with what we had and what we could do.
