With rising costs of weddings, and more and more people getting married in their 30s with their weddings happening more in a manner as per their wishes rather than their parents...

The newest trend is “Elopement Packages”

Where you pay an agency to help you elope with your lover and get married at some secret spot with minimal guests who matter to you (say, not over 5-10)

These packages include:
secretive 5 star locations far away from regular cities
legal wedding ceremonies with witnesses
all F&B for the 2-3 days of elopement
adventurous activities to give you the thrill of running away such as treks, scuba, plane rides...
videographer and photographer to capture the moments

People in the US run away to an island in the Caribbeans for such packages.

Indian couples could totally elope to places with visas on arrival such as Bali, Thailand, Hong Kong or even Lakshadweep and Andamans.

I know it sounds silly, but what doesn’t about spends on weddings like trying to look like Bollywood stars, lip-syncing to songs in your wedding videos.

As of now, there are no Indian businesses using “elopement packages” as key word for search in this category.

Waiting to see how many hotels / travel agents / wedding vendors start using these key words starting today and build elopement experiences.
