it felt only right to bid tomato girl summer farewell with a bang, so welcome to day 1 of hosting a tomato themed dinner party! 🍅

this was the “day before” so i wanted to prep every dish that could be made in advance to help make the day of pretty effortless 🕺🏻

what i made today:

basil pesto for a pesto burrata pasta (making tmw)
flaky pie crust for an heirloom tomato galette (assembling/baking tmw)
parmesan chicken cutlets (to be reheated before guests arrive)
tiramisu-inspired ice cream dessert with crushed ladyfingers, coffee-toffee ice cream or any coffee ice cream of your liking!, and meringue from my s’mores ice cream pie i made this summer
