Can you “Beat” from the right?

Here we answer that question.

Beating actions are explicitly described in Fiore’s art, they’re so important that the whole Sword section begins with a demonstration and description of Beats against 3 opponents, each doing different things - demonstrating the flexibility of the action. With Fiore “praying” that you bear this action in mind throughout the art.

BUT, they’re always shown from the same side. From the left side. Here we’re briefly explore applying Beats from the right with sword in two hands. Something we at The Exiles practice and drill a great deal as a part of our foundational sword practice.
