Ye sheher ek bohot hi bada metropolis hote hue bhi, is sheher ki sanskriti yaha ke mandiro me aaj bhi barkarar hai. Unmese sabse jana mana mandir hai Shree Kapaleeswarar Temple. Triplicane market ki chehel pehel ke beecho beech ye Shivji ka mandir har kisi ko shaanti aur sukoon de deta hai. Ek aur puratan mandir hai Shree Parthasarathy Perumal Temple, jo ‘parth’ ke saarthi yaani #Mahabharata me Arjun ke saarti the- Sri Krishna, Vishnu ke avatara... unka mandir hai. In mandiro se toh humara maan paavan ho jaata hai...
Lekin ab Chennai aaye aur yaha ke Saravana Bhavan me naa jaye aisa toh ho nahi sakta! Is restaurant ki shuruvat Chennai se hui par ab toh ye ek Global Chain bann gayi hai! Inke poore bharat me aur Videsh me bhi kaayi outlets hai. Saravana bhavan jitni hi iconic jagah hai New Woodlands Hotel. Ye shayad Chennai ka sabse famous restaurant hai aur inka Rasam Vada, Idli Sambar, Mysore Masala Dosa toh lahjawab hai. Lekin restaurants ki baat ho rahi hai, toh yaha ke Ratna Cafe ko kaise bhool sakte hai. Ye cafe 1948 me shuru hua tha aur unka idli sambar serve karneka tarika ab toh iconic ban chuka hai!
