THE ESSENCE OF BUDDHA:
"Buddha" signifies enlightenment, intellect, and self-awareness.
When one understands their true self, they attain the state of Buddha.
We all harbour this potential within each of us, and life's purpose is to awaken this dormant Buddha.

KRIYA YOG AND THE PATH TO AWAKENING:
Kriya Yoga, derived from the root word "Kri" meaning action, is the practice of aligning the soul with the universe's divine purpose of 'flow'.
This unification transcends ego and bodily identification, leading to true self-awareness.

THE ROLE OF GURU:
A Guru, unlike a teacher or guide, is a reminder of our true essence.
When the soul incarnates in a human body, it forgets its divine nature.
The Guru's role is to reignite this awareness, counteracting the world's distractions that keep us forgetful of our true selves.

Our mind, coupled with the sense organs, enables us to experience the outer world. However, it also keeps us engrossed in the material realm.
with guidance from the Guru, we practice closing our senses and turning inward, where we reconnect with our pure essence—the soul, which is ever-waiting to be realised. The role of the Guru is to lead us to this inner realisation.
