1976 EM Bally Night Rider - Restoration Walk-Thru and Game Play

Picked up a non-working EM Night Rider at an estate sale in November, 2022. Got it mostly working in my garage after a few days and then spent the next 8 months doing a total restoration.

Night Rider really can be brutal. I think I'm a pretty decent player, and for a 3-ball game set to conservative scoring I average about 60K in a 3 to 4 minute game. Compare that to The Mandalorian for example - I average about 700M in a 10-12 minute on that game when set to 3-ball and factory defaults.

In this Night Rider game play video, you'll hear the knocker for getting all targets down and again for getting each additional bank down during that ball as well as for the high score thresholds of 60K, 91K, and 115K. The Over The Top buzzer goes off after reaching 100K but the framing I used on the scoreboard camera doesn't capture the 100K lamp getting lit. Final score: 151,360.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video: I put "fire" Comet LEDs in the lightboard behind the cop car's siren for a pretty cool flashing light effect.
