✍ From the late 80's to the mid 90's, Art and Cinema crossed their paths several times, due to the success of films such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) or Cool World (1992), and mainly thanks to the boom of MTV music videos. In horror films, far from the scope and budget of other genres, filmmakers also tried to blend realities in tales where monsters came out of comic strips, paintings or book covers into the real world to terrify people. Fortunately, although this formula has been losing popularity, there are still interesting films. We wanted to compile ten of the best.
