Instantaneous whiteout conditions as severe snow squall plows through with a localized snow microburst impacting State College.

A short clip of my footage was featured on ABC World News Tonight (viewable at the start of this video).

I estimated peak winds reached 50 MPH on the leading edge of the microburst, which is reasonable considering I was recording from 12 floors up. Most weather stations at ground level reported winds in the 40-45 MPH range. This was the closest thing I've experienced to a severe thunderstorm minus the thunder (there was plenty in surrounding areas).
