Where did Sly originate from? In the series, it was never made clear about Sly’s origin whether it’s Paris, the United States or a different place altogether. But, a scene from the first game could hint at the possibility that Sly was born in the US. In the comics, Sly visited Paris for the first time at an unknown age perhaps 16 or 17 years old. Sly could have been born in Paris without having an idea, he just never had the chance to fully explore the city until a certain age.
