Farm Together has a great feature of a Farmhand that can do some of the work for you, here I try to show the best use of your farmhand and how to make the 13 x 13 grid to optimise the farmhand's job. (Sorry about the quality of the video but I am not used to editing)

04 Plough a square 13 x 13 (or plant flowers or trees)
41 Leave a grass patch in the centre for the farmhand, you should have 6 ploughed squares on each side of the grass patch. (I spelt it plow in the video sorry it was 4am lol)
38 The dotted lines show the edges of the 13x13 grid, this can be your field or you can give your farmhand more to do.
02 A beehive takes up 2 squares but only one of the squares needs be part of the farmhands grid for the honey to be collected.
39 Fish take up a lot of space but you only need to use one square to fish a whole lake of fish. Separate squares will be needed for hammerhead sharks and some other fish that do not mix with the others.
41 Place anything that a farmhand will collect in your grid, a wishing well is a good example.
13 Make the most of your space as long as you stick to the 13x13 grid you can put your farmhands to good use.
34 This example uses a ploughed field but it could easily be a grid of flowers or trees.
38 Remember to build a house and cook, paint and play the piano to earn tickets to pay your farmhands
