Tuesday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Rain chances return today in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

A slow-moving area of low pressure will swirl its way in our direction today, bringing increasing clouds and a few showers throughout the day. Temps will reach the low 70s for highs with most hours looking dry.

Tonight we'll have mainly cloudy skies with a few showers still scattered around the area.

We'll be on the backside of this area of low pressure Wednesday, and I still think we could see some slow-moving downpours with the potential for very localized flash flooding. Other locations will remain dry -- just the nature of this time of year with rainfall! Temps will once again range from the upper 60s to low 70s Wednesday.

Another system moves in Friday with rain and storm chances before we gradually clear things out this weekend for the Cleveland Marathon.

TODAY: Increasing clouds with a few showers. Near 70.

WEDNESDAY: Mainly cloudy with scattered slow-moving downpours. Near 70.

THURSDAY: Isolated showers, otherwise a mix of clouds and sun. Mid 70s.
