All lynx species (Facts & info)

Lynxes are mid-sized wild cats characterized by their short tails, ear tufts, and big paws for walking in snow. They can be found throughout Eurasia and North America. The lynx typically inhabits high-altitude forests with dense cover of shrubs and tall grass. Although this cat tends to hunt on the ground, it can also climb trees and can swim swiftly. They mainly prey on rodents, birds and hares but will also target deer.

There are four species:
Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx)
Iberian Lynx (Lynx pardinus)
Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis)
Bobcat/Red lynx (Lynx rufus)
