Departed from Augsburg (EDMA), crossing the German and Austrian Alps at 16.000 ft and finally overflying the Slovenian Alps, descending to the ILB VOR and heading West following the Standard Terminal Arrival Route to Portoroz. In order to enjoy the great scenery of Piran and the coastline, we were cleared for the instrument approach RWY 15 followed by a circle to land procedure on RWY 33.
