Judas Priest - Saints In Hell - Guitar Cover

Track one on Side 2 from Stained Class - the fourth studio album by Judas Priest, released in February 1978. Stained Class is thought by many to be the album that made the crossover from the early "prog" era albums to actual heavy metal, something I'm inclined to agree with to a degree. At the time it came out, this was the heaviest record around!

"Saints In Hell" is a good one for budding guitar players into JP to try: it's fairly straightforward and doesn't have intricate guitar solos to worry about. It's all about playing with feeling to nail this one. Oh, and also the chord progression in the middle part - one guitar plays those inverted (half-diminished?) chords whilst the other is straight-up power chords. I play the inverted ones here in my video. Such a great, heavy song!

Standard tuning for this one.

I'm doing these cover videos purely for my own enjoyment - while I write for several upcoming planned projects that should hopefully take form this year. Thought I'd share for anyone interested. I figure them out by ear, so any mistakes are solely my own. I think they're mostly right. Cheers.
