Chicken balls, caramelized onions and green beans
Ingredients
Ingredients for chicken balls
500 grams of ground chicken breast
3 tablespoons matzo flour or breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon chicken soup powder
Leaves from half a package of parsley
1 egg
1 medium onion
Ingredients for the sauce
2 large or 3 medium onions
1 tsp full of sweet paprika
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
A glass of boiling water
3 tablespoons of canola or sunflower oil
Green Bean Pack (800g)
Instructions
Slice 2 large onions into thin rings and set aside. Chop medium onion into small cubes and set aside. Chop thin leaves from half a package parsley and set aside. Place 800 grams of frozen green beans in a glass bowl, pour boiling water, wait 6 minutes and drain the liquid.
In a large pot over medium heat, heat 3 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is really hot sprinkle the onion rings in a pot and do not touch for 5 minutes! After 5 minutes become stir. Add a teaspoonful of sweet paprika, 3/4 teaspoon black pepper, a teaspoon of salt and stir. Fry for 2 minutes and add a cup of boiling water. Mix well, bring to a boil, lower flame and close lid.
Place 1 pound of ground chicken breast, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons matzo flour or breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon chicken soup mix, medium onion, diced and chopped parsley leaves. Combine all ingredients into a uniform mass and wash hands.
Make about 12 balls of the mixture and put in a pot one by one. Close the lid and cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes turn the chicken balls, add the green beans, shake the pot a little so that the beans will enter the chicken house and spin to the bottom of the pot. Cover with the lid and cook for another 20 minutes / until softening the green beans. Garnish with finely chopped parsley.
